Start swimming in clear and shallow waters, if possible closed in some way, where you can feel confident. Use goggles for underwater vision. Talk to people who have had encounters with sharks. They will explain you how unlikely is to have a shark attack. Expand the limits where you swim to more open and deeper places. Don't push yourself. Take time to get confident in the ocean, specially in open places. Be well informed and dive with experienced divers who know where are the shark zones.
